You Can Rent Carrie Bradshaw's Apartment for $23 a Night

October 2024 · 2 minute read

It's been 23 years since Carrie Bradshaw gave us the wise adage, "In New York, you're always looking for a job, a boyfriend, or an apartment." Now, we're finally prepared to check off the last item on that list.

Well, at least for one night. Revving up for HBO Max's upcoming release of And Just Like That..., Airbnb has partnered with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to re-create Carrie's Upper East Side brownstone apartment from Sex and the City. For two one-night stays, up to two guests can take on the Carrie Bradshaw lifestyle—cosmos included. The best part? It costs only $23 a night.

Though the Airbnb listing isn't located in Carrie's very same building (the apartment is in Chelsea instead), guests can still expect plenty of memorable mementos from the beloved show. In the corner sits Carrie's desk and laptop, where she couldn't help but wonder for many a night. On the opposite end, there's the chair designed by Carrie's (arguably best) ex Aidan Shaw. And, of course, there's the closet.

Carrie's remarkable and totally-unrealistic-by-Manhattan-standards walk-in closet has not only been re-created, but also outfitted with some of her best designer looks. Guests can play dress-up in her opening-credits tutu and Manolo Blahniks and nameplate necklaces, and they'll also be treated to a full styling session and photo shoot.

“The Carrie Bradshaw character is near and dear to my heart, and revisiting her world for the continuation of the Sex and the City story has been such a joy,” Sarah Jessica Parker said in a statement. “I’m excited for our audience to experience Carrie’s New York like never before and walk in her shoes, quite literally, for the first time.”

Other Carrie-esque goodies include cosmopolitans, brunch in Chelsea, and even a virtual greeting from SJP herself.

Bookings open Monday, November 8, at noon ET. Proceeds go to The Studio Museum in Harlem.
